A good massage increases circulation, relieves pain, enhances immunity and promotes feelings of well-being. Regular massages can be an important part of a preventive health maintenance program, helping you feel more relaxed, energetic, mentally balanced and physically healthy.

Shiatsu includes thumb pressure (accupressure), compression, percussion and stretches to help free stagnant and blocked energy ("chi") in your body.
It leads to deep relaxation, relief from pain and muscle tension, and a feeling of balanced energy. Clients are often amazed at how Shiatsu massages have helped them remain relaxed in times of stress.
Shiatsu can be performed:
- through loose, comfortable clothing or draped by a sheet
- 1-2 hours after meals (recommended)

Swedish massage works more specifically on the muscles and promotes circulation of the lymphatic fluid in your body, as well as the release of lactic acid (a byproduct of exercise) and other toxins.
This form of massage can boost your immune system and increase your sense of well-being. It leads to a deep state of calmness and feelings of being nurtured and rejuvenated.
Deep Tissue techniques will be incorporated when needed or requested to address specific areas of tension and pain. As always, you control the level of pressure through your feedback.

Combination massage usually begins with some Shiatsu on the shoulders and back to break up tension, followed by more Swedish-based oil or lotion massage. Alternatively, some clients enjoy a 60-minute Shiatsu, followed by a 30-minute Swedish massage.
